Darksun - Tocar El Sol - CD
"Tocar el Sol" se espera como uno de los discos del años en el panorama nacional español. Es producido por Dani G. en los renovados Dynamita Studios con una mezcla impecable y un sonido demoledor. Su música sigue la estela de Libera Me incluyendo grandes himnos como "Tocar El Sol" o "Ánima", que seguramente se convertirán en clasicos de la banda con el paso de los años. "La espera ha merecido la pena, la composición de los temas ha sido muy intensa y prometen ser las mejores canciones del grupo hasta la fecha, con una producción excelente."
Darksun - Libera Me - CD
DARKSUN have released "Libera Me," the follow-up to their critically acclaimed "The Dark Side" release.
"Libera Me" features 12 tracks, and includes a multimedia section with the video for "Miedo," a photo gallery of the video sessions, plus more!
Darksun recorded the video for "Miedo", with director/producer Jacinto Hinojal/Eyes Only (who worked on Rage´s DVD, "Full Moon in St. Petersburg 2007").
Vocalist Dani G. produced and engineered the album. All lead guitars on "Libera Me" were played by new member David Figueiras, with both David and Tino Hevia laying down the rhythm guitar tracks (Dani is no longer playing guitar in the band, as he is now solely concentrating his efforts on singing).
The Drum tracks on "Libera Me" were performed by Dani Cabal, whom the band re-enlisted to record the new album (he played on Darksun's debut album, "El Legado"). The band's new drummer is Jose Ojeda, an exceptional talent who combines the technical style of Rafael Yugueros (drummer on "The Dark Side"), with the heaviness and power of Dani Cabal.
Darksun is completed by founding member Pedro Junquera on bass, and new keyboardist Ana Fernández.

With influences including BLIND GUARDIAN, ANGRA, and HELLOWEEN, DARKSUN have written an album in "The Dark Side" that the aforementioned heavy metal legends would be proud to call their own. The album will feature 11 tracks, including "Slaves Of Fear," "Echoes Of The Past," and "Confrontation."
A bonus DVD is also included, and features a band documentary, studio report, music video, and more!
"The Dark Side" was mixed by Dennis Ward (Angra, Silent Force, Adagio, Symphorce), with the vocals produced by Lars Ratz (Metalium). The album features guest singer Peavy Wagner of RAGE on the song "Prisoners Of Fate." (DARKSUN also collaborated with RAGE on their "Speak Of The Dead" album, creating a Spanish version of the song "Full Moon" entitled "La Luna Reine," which appeared as a bonus track).
